Basingstoke Counselling Service has been serving the community since 1985 , offering one-to-one counselling for adults. Our team of well-trained counsellors offer a professional and affordable service, and can help you with a wide range of problems through periods of distress or difficulty.
Talking Therapy
The main ‘talking therapy’ available here at Basingstoke Counselling Service is psychodynamic counselling, although we are now also able to offer cognitive behavioural therapy. Our counsellors are all well-trained and supervised, and practise within the framework for ethical practice of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. At Basingstoke Counselling Service we also recognise that the relationship between client and counsellor is of upmost importance and as such we always try to carefully match the most suitable counsellor to your particular needs.
Training and Development
Do you want to develop your understanding of relationships in private life or in the workplace? Have you been thinking about a career in counselling or perhaps thinking that you would like to sample more about what it takes to be a counsellor? If so, then Basingstoke Counselling Service can meet your training needs as we provide recognised counselling training at both Skills and Diploma level.
Throughout the year we offer continuing professional development (CPD) as a programme of seminars and workshops.
